These aren’t follow-the-leader paint nights. You work on your own project, at your own pace, with someone right beside you the whole way.

Never held a paint brush? Perfect. Been refinishing for years? Also perfect. Instruction is matched to where you are, not to a script.
Hands-on and one-on-one
Classes stay small on purpose. You get direct, personal guidance — technique demonstrated on your piece, questions answered as they come up.
Bring your own piece
A thrift-store nightstand, a hand-me-down dresser, a chair that deserves better. You bring the project; the studio supplies the know-how.
The Studio
A permanent home inside Coconut Barrel
Classes are held in a dedicated studio space at Coconut Barrel, The Artisan Market — a warm, light-filled marketplace of local makers just south of historic downtown St. Augustine.
Come early or stay after and browse the market. It’s a good excuse either way.
